Haroof Arabic brand identity and Square Kufic logo design sketches by Nihad Taisir

Haroof Brand Identity

Haroof is a women’s fashion label inspired by the meaning and form of Arabic letters. The brand identity was developed around an Arabic-first visual system that feels refined, feminine, structured, and culturally rooted.

The concept treats Arabic letters as both language and form. Instead of using calligraphy as decoration, the identity uses geometry, proportion, and balance to turn the word “حروف” into a compact visual signature.

The final logo was designed using a Square Kufic approach, creating a structured Arabic wordmark that holds its shape across packaging, labels, digital use, and brand applications. The system also includes a supporting English layer, color palette, packaging direction, and brand toolkit.
