In 2025, Nihad Taisir Nadam contributed to the design and production of promotional and marketing materials for the fourth edition of the Arabic and Creative Industries Congress, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.

This contribution reflects Nihad’s broader experience in branding, visual communication, and institutional design, particularly for projects connected to the Arabic language, cultural production, publishing, media, and the creative industries. The congress required a clear and professional visual presence that could support its public communication and reflect the importance of Arabic within contemporary creative sectors.

Nihad’s work supported the promotional and marketing presence of the congress through designed materials that helped present the event clearly, professionally, and in alignment with its institutional and cultural context.

Between 2013 and 2014, Nihad Taisir Nadam collaborated with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sharjah on a series of activities focused on digital Arabic calligraphy, Arabic letterforms, and computer-based calligraphy tools.

The collaboration included a seminar titled “Arabic Digital Calligraphy” on 15 December 2013, followed by two specialized workshops on 23 March 2013 and 23 February 2014. These sessions introduced students to digital Arabic calligraphy methods, Arabic letter processing, and the use of specialized software tools in creating calligraphic compositions.

This collaboration later developed into “Be Beautiful,” a digital Arabic calligraphy exhibition held at the University of Sharjah in May 2014 as part of the sixth edition of the Sharjah Calligraphy Forum. The exhibition featured works by students from the Department of Computer Science, alongside works by Nihad Nadam, Dr. Manar Abu Talib, and Professor Ashraf Al-Najjar.

Al Khaleej newspaper covered the exhibition in an article titled “23 artworks process calligraphy digitally,” noting the technical and aesthetic quality of the displayed works and highlighting Nihad Nadam’s contribution to the digital treatment of Arabic calligraphy.
