Corporate Sports: building a brand from inception to launch

From the company’s inception through its first year, I designed and developed the brand and website while directing the marketing team—connecting strategy, identity, communications, public relations, digital experience, and championship events within one operating system.

01 · Brief and challenge

Creating a credible business brand around sport, teamwork, and performance

Corporate Sports was established to help organisations use sporting events, workplace wellbeing initiatives, and shared team experiences to strengthen employee engagement and organisational performance.

The challenge was to build a new company for two very different environments. The brand needed the energy and movement of sport while retaining the authority required for corporate decision-makers, presentations, partnerships, and formal communications.

This required more than a logo. The launch depended on one coherent system that could move between business development, digital channels, printed material, media relations, and live sporting events.

02 · Leadership and scope

One creative and marketing direction from inception to launch

I was responsible for the design work and for directing the marketing team during the company’s first year. That combined strategic, creative, digital, and communication responsibilities under one clear direction.

Brand and identity

Positioning, logo design, visual language, colour system, identity applications, and independently developed brand guidelines.

Website and digital

Website design and development, online brand applications, launch content, and digital communication supporting awareness and business development.

Marketing and communications

Marketing direction, corporate communications, media materials, public-relations consultation, campaigns, and event promotion.

03 · Identity concept

A visual idea connecting collective energy with organisational progress

The central symbol brings together people, movement, achievement, and competition within one recognisable form. Its upward rhythm suggests progress and measurable performance, while the collective figures express participation and team spirit.

A shield-like structure gives the identity stability and connects it with competition and achievement. High-energy orange introduces momentum, balanced by a deep corporate blue that gives the system authority.

04 · Flexible identity system

Prepared for corporate, digital, print, and sporting environments

The logo system was developed in multiple configurations and colour treatments so it could remain recognisable across websites, corporate documents, presentations, uniforms, venues, promotional materials, and event communications.

05 · Website and communications

Carrying one identity across digital, social, and printed touchpoints

The website, social channels, corporate stationery, brochures, presentations, and audience-facing materials were designed as connected parts of the same launch system.

06 · Event branding

Extending the system into the Corporate Sports Championship

The championship brought the brand into a highly visible live environment. Event identity, promotional campaigns, marketing communications, media content, and public relations worked together to connect the corporate proposition with the energy of competition.

07 · Outcome

One identity across business, digital, marketing, and live experiences

Corporate Sports was launched with an integrated brand and communication foundation rather than a standalone logo. The identity connected the company’s positioning, digital presence, corporate communications, marketing activity, and championship events through one coherent visual and strategic direction.

The project demonstrates the value of leading brand and marketing decisions together: every touchpoint supported the same proposition while adapting to the needs of business audiences, participants, partners, media, and live events.
