ARABIC EDITORIAL DESIGN WITH CULTURAL AND TECHNICAL DEPTH
Nihad Taisir Nadam is a Creative Director and Arabic Branding Expert with more than 25 years of experience across Arabic editorial design, bilingual publishing, typography, and visual identity.
His publishing work extends beyond visual styling. It combines cover direction, Arabic typography, right-to-left page architecture, bilingual hierarchy, image systems, and print production. The aim is to build books as coherent reading systems rather than collections of separately designed pages.

SELECTED COVERS AND VISUAL DIRECTIONS
Each cover is developed around the book’s subject, readership, and publishing context. The visual language may be typographic, illustrative, archival, or calligraphic, but the Arabic title always remains structurally central.

SERIES DESIGN
Publishing series demand more than a sequence of attractive covers. They require a repeatable visual language, flexible title hierarchy, consistent spine logic, and enough variation for every book to retain its own identity.

INSIDE THE BOOK
Arabic typesetting requires control over rhythm, hierarchy, justification, footnotes, diacritics, tables, images, and the interaction between right-to-left and left-to-right content.

WHAT THE WORK REQUIRES
01
Script-aware hierarchy, spacing, justification, diacritics, and careful font selection.
02
Arabic and English layouts that preserve the natural reading logic of both languages.
03
Flexible frameworks for covers, spines, title hierarchy, imagery, and future volumes.
04
Clean, press-ready files for offset printing, digital editions, and institutional workflows.

NIHAD TAISIR NADAM
Nihad works across Arabic branding, editorial design, typography, and digital Arabic calligraphy. This combined perspective allows him to approach a book not as a collection of separate pages, but as a coherent cultural and visual system.
He collaborates with publishers, cultural institutions, and authors on selected Arabic and bilingual publications that require strong conceptual direction and exacting production standards.
Let’s build an editorial system that respects language, reading, and production from cover concept to press-ready files.
